Tour de Twist in Czech Republic

The TdT 2009 will happen from May 21st to 24th 2009.

The region we will visit is the Czech Republic, namely the South-Western part on the border to Austria.

The routes will be announced later, I only have a concept and want to ride the routes before I am putting the routes into the net.

One point is sure: we will have a look at an old motorbike museum (if the participants want to) and the town Ceske Krumlov (picture below).

 

For practical reasons (language) I was looking for a hotel on Austrian territories near the border.

I found it in Bad Leonfelden, only 5,6 kms away from the border.

 The prices:

 Euro 33,-- in the hotel

 Euro 36,-- in the guests house.

 0,90 Euros Kurtaxe per day and person

 

If one wants half board, it makes additionally 10,00 Euros a day.

 

The offer includes breakfast, use of an indoor swimming pool and Sauna/Spa area. There is a garage room for a limited number of bikes.

 

Everybody books on his own risk and with his own name. Please don't forget to mention "GTR Club Europe" !!!!!

 

I have pre-reserved 15 rooms. Our members have to book until April 15th 2009 to be sure to get a room. Who is booking later can come into the situation that there ain't no room free anymore.

 

They offer a good kitchen to reasonable prices (even within Austria they are rather cheap in price but good in quality), Elfi and me have tested already.

 

Unfortunately I will not be able to offer such delicacies like "surströmming" - so please be satisfied with the local beer .....
