The Pyynikki Race year 1936

Pyynikki - the worlds highest gravel ridge - was a stage where the famous motorcycle races took place years 1932-1939 and 1946-1971. The golden age of The Pyynikki Race was at 1962-1963 when the race had a WM status. Famous participants of those days was Mike Hailwood, Jim Redman, Luigi Taveri, Hans-Georg Anscheidt, Hugh Andersson and Alan Shepherd. One well known Finnish guy also participated several times, even winning the race time to time - his name was Jarno Saarinen.
